Yamaha is looking for a passionate and experienced Professional Audio Repair Technician for pro-audio, commercial audio, consumer AV who enjoys solving customers issues to drive positive results. Support levels include Yamaha authorized dealers, field technical support, in-house repair, software support and pre-sale customizations.
Here's What You'll Do:

  • Perform repairs for both warranty and non-warranty
  • Provide technical support for technician's inbound inquiries ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • As needed, priorities repairs, perform updates, refurbish and pack all product types
  • Conduct technical training seminar to field technicians
  • Assist with and manage processing of invoices of repairs to dealers and end-users with Oracle
  • Capture detailed repair data including repair cost in the Oracle module
  • Authorize field tech warranty claims to ensure validity and proper payment
  • Assist with developing internal policies for the Service Department.
  • Provide support with any customer repair concerns
  • Develop internal knowledge articles for level one customer support
  • Develop external FAQ for customer self-service support
    Here's What You'll Bring to the Table
    Required:
    • 2+ year professional work experience in Pro Audio / Commercial Audio service field.
    • Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
    • Training experience.
    • Ability to read schematic diagram and block diagram.
    • Flexibility to travel at a short notice.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong collaboration and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
    • Complete any additional assignments as needed
      Preferred:
      • Proficient in MS Office, preferred knowledge in Oracle and Salesforce

          Compensation
          • Up to $38.00 per hour
          • The posted compensation is the base pay. This is the hiring range and does not include bonus potential or the value of benefits. The hiring range does not reflect total earning potential over time
