Job Description:
A company is looking for an Avian Survey Senior Research
Technician to manage avian field data collection for habitat
restoration projects in Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
Train project staff in standardized point count methodologies
Coordinate statewide sampling strategy and oversee data collection
logistics
Complete avian point counts and manage data post-collection
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject
Excellent visual and aural avian identification skills
2 years of experience in avian-focused fieldwork, including
point-count experience
Competent in data collection and management
Basic experience with Excel
