Support Technical Production department in
the installation, construction, design, and maintenance of one or
more of the following
areas: staging(construction), lighting, audio, paint, scenic
dressing, special effects. Provide hands on theatrical techniques
skills in the above mentioned specialty area. Follow directions
from the supervision team and lead small crews as needed.
Ensures the availability of all needed
materials and equipment for the smooth and efiicient peration of
Construct, install and/or repair stage scenes, set dressings,
props, lighting equipment, audio equipment, etc...
Read, understand, develop and implement plans and blueprints.
Research and recommmend tools and equipment
to complete assigned projects.
Lead crews and direct personnel as required to complete projects on
time and within budget.
Recruit, interview, hire and train divisional staff as needed.
Perform operational duties in show venues as business needs
Provide recommendations to supervision of crew member performance
in order to actively develop key staff.
Assist in parkwide projects as requested by Project
Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when
serving the guest or working with subordinates, including
initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving
Maintains cleanliness and safety in
assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar
guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual
conditions to supervision.
Meets scheduling availability requirements,
including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business

2-4 years specialty experience in a
technical productions area at a professional level (scenic
master/scenic carpenter, stage contruction/rigging, special
