The Yamaha Information Technology Department plans, operates and
supports the Yamaha IT infrastructure, enabling business users to
carry out their roles efficiently, productively and securely. Our

Reporting to the Corporate Vice President, Finance & Sales
Support Services and serving as an integral member of the senior
management team, the Vice President, Information Technology will
lead and oversee the Information Technology teams in our
organization; Infrastructure and Security, Unified Communications &
End User Support, and Applications. Successful executive will be
responsible for directing, developing, planning, and executing all
IT projects, activities, and strategies to ensure company growth
and that we meet key objectives. This role collaborates with
internal and external business partners, key stakeholders to
establish the most efficient and secure operation of all automated
IT systems in Yamaha.

Here's What You’ll Do:
Provide strategy, vision and leadership while supporting
corporate business objectives and managing to budget
Lead, coach and develop a passionate, engaged team of experts.
Providing thought leadership, direction and best practices to the

Continuously look to improve business operations through process
improvements, training and systems implementation and upgrades.
Position the business to sustain performance through changing
circumstances. Understand and apply change management best
practices to successfully embed changes.
Drive and lead the implementation of a business partner model in
Leading North, Central, and South America regional IT for
Advise and effectively communicate and present critical IT
matters to Corporate VP and at Senior Management Meetings.
Contribute to the development of YCA’s strategic goals and
objectives as well as the overall management of the
Increase our focus on improving the customer experience for both
internal and external customers.
Oversee the procurement, installation and maintenance of all
computer hardware and software and all other products and supplies
necessary to keep computer systems operable and to fulfill
managements requests for computer support.
Create, maintain and enforce written policies and procedures
regarding all computer operations in the IT Department and
throughout the company.
Compile and review records to determine department productivity,
quality of output and cost of service. Develop methods to
continually improve results.
Perform other duties and participate in projects as needed
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table
Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science,
engineering or equivalent years of work experience
Minimum 15 years of significant, progressive responsibilities
within Information Technology
10+ years leading, coaching, developing, and growing teams
A strong global, strategic and business mindset
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Proven experience in a business consulting/partnership role
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively
communicate with different levels within the company
Experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure, CRM, Oracle ERP,
eCommerce and SAP ERP
Experience managing Cybersecurity, PCI and SOX/JSOX compliance
Experience and knowledge of IT delivery and support processes
Proven experience managing multiple, cross-functional teams or
projects and influencing senior management and key
Deep knowledge in corporate business systems implementation
Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
Global Experience highly preferred
