excellence. Team Description: From concept through production,
premiere, and direct-to-consumer experiences, you will design and
deliver digital signage and content distribution systems that power
real-time communication across studio and enterprise environments.
In this role, you will focus on platforms such as BrightSign and
Appspace to enable scalable, reliable, and centrally managed
content delivery across global display networks within Shared
Technology Services (STS) under the Technical Services and Systems
Engineering (TSASE) organization. We are seeking engineers with
deep expertise in digital signage ecosystems, including device
provisioning, content orchestration, and platform integration. You
should be experienced in designing end-to-end solutions leveraging
BrightSign hardware and Appspace CMS, ensuring seamless playback,
scheduling, and dynamic content delivery across diverse
environments (lobbies, production spaces, executive areas, and
operational hubs). A strong understanding of networking, security,
and endpoint management is critical to ensure compliance with
enterprise standards. You will work closely with business
stakeholders, creative teams, and enterprise partners to translate
requirements into scalable technical designs. This includes
aligning content strategies with operational needs, enabling
self-service models where appropriate, and ensuring high
availability and performance across all deployed endpoints. Our
teams operate in a lean, agile model, requiring ownership,
adaptability, and a strong bias toward execution. You will be
responsible for designing, deploying, and continuously improving
digital signage solutions that enhance communication, engagement,
and operational visibility across Disney properties. Your
engineering mindset is reflected in how you design systems, partner
with stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes. You prioritize
user experience, system reliability, and operational efficiency
while ensuring alignment with enterprise governance and security
standards. You are: A systems engineer with expertise in digital
signage platforms, including BrightSign and Appspace Experienced in
designing and managing large-scale content distribution across
distributed display networks Proficient in device provisioning,
remote management, and CMS-driven content scheduling and automation
Knowledgeable in networking (VLANs, DHCP, firewalls) and endpoint
security for managed devices Skilled at gathering stakeholder
requirements and translating them into scalable, user-focused
solutions Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative,
technical, and business teams A proactive problem solver focused on
reliability, performance, and continuous improvement What You’ll
Do: Content Curation and Management Oversee and curate content for
the digital signage service, ensuring it aligns with company
objectives and audience needs. Manage the content lifecycle from
creation to deployment, ensuring timely updates and relevance.
Technical and Project Management Handle all technical aspects of
the digital signage service, ensuring smooth operations and
troubleshooting issues. Oversee multiple projects, ensuring
completion on time, within scope, and meeting quality standards.
Creative Direction Serve as the creative vision behind the digital
signage service, ensuring designs are innovative and align with
company branding. Collaborate with design teams to bring this
vision to life, providing guidance and feedback. Collaboration and
Stakeholder Engagement Foster a collaborative environment, bridging
gaps between internal teams such as design, tech, marketing, and
external partners. Engage with stakeholders at all levels,
gathering feedback, securing buy-in, and ensuring alignment with
company and entertainment objectives. Continuous Improvement Stay
updated with the latest trends in digital signage, entertainment
content, and technology to ensure our platforms are cutting-edge.
Gather feedback and analytics to refine content strategy and
delivery continuously. Required Qualifications & Skills: 5 years in
engineering or computer systems supporting Film/TV production A
generalist who can perform many different tasks. Able to
comfortably multitask (i.e., perform multiple architecting tasks
concurrently). Able to make important decisions given incomplete
and conflicting knowledge. Highly self-directed, being able to both
manage and (re)prioritize the multiple concurrent and competing
challenges, issues, ambiguities, and contradictions that
necessarily occur during the production of the database
architecture and design. Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and thus able to
explain and document the systems to their diverse audiences. A
team-building leader with good interpersonal and relationship
building skills. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics
Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work
experience The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is
$117,500 to $157,500 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The
amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business
needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account
internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s
geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may
be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the
full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent
