Overview:The Accommodation Specialist is responsible for assisting employees -in obtaining medical and religious -work accommodations. This role will manage the interactive process as mandated by ADA compliance law.Responsibilities:--- Facilitate and administratively document the interactive process with associates seeking a reasonable accommodation in partnership with leadership and other key resources to ensure compliance with all federal and state laws--- Communicate the accommodation, return to work plan, and method for monitoring for effectiveness--- Assess risk associated with the interactive process, including the Company's inability to accommodate a restriction or recast existing employees--- Promote knowledge and understanding for leaders and associates in regard to the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act, Family and Medical Leave Act and other compliance issues as they relate to the medical accommodation process--- Pro-actively -identify, develop, implement, and sustain integrated strategies or solutions to align with client and/or business--- Ability to identify accommodation needs and propose reasonable accommodations balancing the needs of the individual, the business requirements and all legal requirements--- Ability to make judgment calls and sound, ethical decisions displaying a heightened level of responsibility, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization--- Experience in facilitating & delivering leadership trainingSalary range - $64,480.00 Standard benefits package including medical, dental, and vision, 401K, profit sharing, vacation, sick, and holiday pay.Qualifications:Education - - -Bachelor's DegreeField of study: HR; Business Admin; Comm. -Fluent Spanish Required. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Experience - - - - - - - 2-4 years Experience with ADA Law in CA

• Medical / Workers' Compensation knowledge.
• Bilingual speaking/writing strongly preferred.
• Background in disability management and/or Certified Professional in Disability Management (CPDM) or Integrated Disability and Absence Management (IDAM) - - - -
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
