Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity
is for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support K-6 students
across two school sites from preschool through 6th grade. The
position runs from mid-February through the end of the school year,
with the possibility to extend into the following school year. The
setting is a public K-12 school, offering a structured and
supportive educational environment in Palmdale, CA.
Responsibilities: Provide school-based occupational therapy
services to children in preschool through 6th grade across two
sites. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and promote
student success. Conduct assessments and deliver interventions
tailored to meet the needs of diverse students within the school
environment. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with
school district and state regulations. Participate in team meetings
and contribute to best practices for occupational therapy in
educational settings. Qualifications: Experience in school-based
occupational therapy is required. Familiarity with the unique needs
of pediatric students in a K-12 educational setting. Ability to
manage caseloads effectively across multiple sites. Strong
communication and collaboration skills. Schedule and Location:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (7.5 hours). Position
based in Palmdale, CA, servicing two school locations. To
