Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARYThe purpose of your job position is to support
the Director of Purchasing and client facilities in managing the
day-to-day activities related to building plant, equipment, and
preventative maintenance of the facility in accordance with current
applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations to
ensure the safety of all residents and personnel.
The Project Manager of Environmental Services will treat all with

serving with all facility staff, vendors, and multidisciplinary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS
Education / LicensureHigh school diploma or GED required (licensed
contractor or project management training preferred)Trade school or
college courses in HVAC, electrical and plumbing etc. a plus
Qualifications / ExperienceMust have minimum of 5 years' working
experience in skilled nursing or hospital/healthcare setting
(Contractor or project management experience also acceptable)Must
have working knowledge of HCAI/OSHPD project requirements and
project timelines.Must have general carpentry, electrical, HVAC,
plumbing knowledgeMust be able to safely trouble shoot and repair
equipmentMust be able to read, write, and speak the English
languageMust be able to follow detailed directions and manage time
effectively
Working ConditionsMay encounter frequent interruptions and need to
shift between multiple prioritiesMay be requested to work beyond
scheduled working hours at times such as weekends and holidaysIs
subject to call-back during emergency conditions (e.g., severe
weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.)May be necessary to assist
in the evacuation of residents during emergency situationsMay be
exposed to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including
TB and the AIDS and Hepatitis B virusesMay be required to work in
cramped spaces and in adverse weather conditionsMay be subjected to
odors, dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoking or air contaminants
Physical RequirementsMust be able to move intermittently throughout
the day in all different areas of the facilityMust be able to
stand, bend and reach throughout the dayRepetitive hand motionMust
be able to push, pull, move and or lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion
to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move,
and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 15 feetAbility to
read fine print on equipment or operational pamphlets#CHSHP
