Job Description Job Description Top Job Located in Montebello, CA Salary: $25/hr Maintenance Mechanic (Montebello, CA) $21.00-$25.00 per hour/ DOE Monday-Friday / 6am-2:30pm Seeking a Maintenance Mechanic with electrical expertise in the city of Montebello. You are applying with Express Employment Professionals. Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities: Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting and repairs. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. Use of calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Utilize hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. May initiate purchase order for parts and machines. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Maintenance Mechanic Requirements: Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, with a focus on electrical systems. Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and electrical components. Experience in machine setup and maintenance services. Able to repair electrical equipment. Solid Understanding of safety regulations and practices.
